Gerald’s House Initiative
Gerald’s House, formerly AESM House, opened its doors in 1994 to provide comprehensive, affordable and secure housing options for individuals impacted with HIV/AIDS. We accept clients from various lifestyles and referral sources. Individuals facing economic, substance misuse, mental health and physical anomalies are provided the tools to effectively reconnect back into the community; counseling, case management, peer support and financial assistance.
Currently, the Gerald’s House Initiative is inclusive of the following programs:
- Emergency Housing
- Transitional Housing
- Deposit Assistance Program (DAP)
- Short Term Rental, Mortgage and Utility (STRMU) Assistance
- Rental Location Assistance
- Roommate Matching Services
