Amondre A. Smith
Program Assistant/Health Educator
Amondre A. Smith joined NAESM, Inc. in October 2017 and serves as the organization’s Program Assistant/Health Educator. In this position, Amondre is responsible for providing general administrative assistance and support on day-to-day administrative operations. In addition, he is responsible for organizational records, filing, database maintenance, efficient workspace development, work events, facilities management and other office functions.
Prior to joining NAESM, Inc., Amondre served as a Research Associate for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Division of Tuberculosis Elimination where he was charged to identify new and effective tuberculosis subunit vaccinations through Morehouse College’s Project IMHOTEP. Through this internship, Amondre presented his research findings at the 2016 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students in Seattle, Washington. In addition, his research placed second at the conference.
Amondre is fluent in English and Spanish. He believes that diligence, time and steadfastness all work as his keys to success.
Amondre received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with dual minors in Environmental Sciences and Spanish from North Carolina Central University
